Mauro Tramonte, apresentador do Balanço Geral da Record Minas, lidera a disputa pela Prefeitura de Belo Horizonte. Embora tenha se licenciado da emissora para a atual campanha, o “Datena mineiro” permaneceu no comando do televisivo diário mesmo após eleito deputado estadual em 2022.
As atividades na Assembleia Legislativa de Minas Gerais começam pela manhã, quando há reuniões de comissões, enquanto as sessões plenárias se iniciam às 14h. Já o programa na TV vai de 11h45 às 15h30, mas a produção começa bem antes, exigindo que Tramonte chegasse à emissora por volta das 9h.
Em entrevista à colega Shirley Barroso, da mesma TV Record, o apresentador contou sobre sua rotina. “Eu falo com minha família. Vivo mais aqui na TV Record do que em qualquer outro lugar. Chego de manhãzinha, fico até 3 horas da tarde. Depois saio e vou cumprir o meu papel na Assembleia.”
Tramonte chegou a prometer deixar a Record quando assumisse o mandato de deputado, mas não cumpriu a promessa — difícil largar um salário de R$ 300 mil! Difícil também acreditar que o fará, caso seja eleito prefeito. Cleitinho, hoje senador, chegou a denunciar o trabalho de “meio expediente” do colega na Assembleia. “Tem deputado aqui que, na hora das reuniões, está apresentando programa de TV.”
